BETH WALDRON YUHAS

I was born in Virginia and spent most of my time as a kid drawing animals and playing outside with snakes and frogs. After some time in the art program in college, I felt something was missing so I left Virginia and headed west to explore, taking long detours in Texas and Montana. I ended up in beautiful New Mexico for geology graduate school after getting degrees in Spanish and geology in Montana. And here I am, back to art and animals.
The animal paintings are a colorful mix of nature and intuitive abstract painting. I like to joke that I color with all the crayons in the box, and I really hope looking at my animals brings people joy.
