My work is a reflection of my psyche, a psychic purging. Compositions evolve organically; colors and lines command flow and shape as I work from conception to completion. It’s a reflection of my id—deeply embedded memories, dreamy fluidity, striking colors
Painting allows me to connect to something larger than myself and overcome a sense of isolation after years of chronic pain and illness. It often feels as though my creations control their destiny. I do my best to nourish, sharpen and hone expression. Each piece is an invitation to levity and expansion and an eviction of restriction and expectation.
I’m also a writer and editor and currently publish an online magazine, Cuntism, to celebrate the almighty feminine and reclaim a highly divisive word.
