what, What WHAT?

Why are we so thankful this season you ask? Because you all ROCK! Ghostwolf just won it’s third local award and we’re just a little over 2.5 years old! This one comes in the form of a Best of City from ABQ the MAG. Way beyond cool. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You keep voting and we’ll keep working to create art that inspires.

Jeanette’s oil and cold wax creations are not just gorgeous, they’re complex and thought-provoking. Having first acquired a degree in dance, Jeanette has worked as midwife for the past 20 years.

She says:
“Every day I do the hard work of respectfully caring for women. To replenish I go to the studio. Like the art of dance and midwifery, abstract painting requires knowledge, skill, and technique.  Midwifery has taught me that each birth is unique. Painting reveals those moments of infinite possibility, by choosing the path of the unknown.”

Look for an opening for Jeanette in the coming months!

The accolades just keep coming… Heather has received an Award of Merit from the International Society of Scratchboard Artists!

Check this beauty out!

Debt Fair
Ghostwolf artists Sean Paul Gallegos, Roe LiBretto, and Denise Weaver Ross are now included in Occupy Museums’ Debtfair online collection at In conjunction with that project, their work was selected for the Debtfair installation in the Currency: What do you value? exhibition at 516 Arts in Albuquerque. You can view the exhibition through January 2019.

Begun at Art League Houston and appearing at the 2017 Whitney Biennial, Occupy Museums’ Debtfair is an ongoing artistic campaign to expose the relationship between economic inequality in the art market and artists’ growing debt burdens. Occupy Museums uses collected data to explore the real impacts of debt at a time when U.S. credit card debt alone is over one trillion dollars. You can learn more about this project and its findings here:
