Yep, January is gone friends. Forward ho! Our theme show this month is entitled “Love Is…” Our artists will pepper their walls with things they love– things that make them think about love– or how they understand that most enigmatic of human emotions. Puppy kisses? The open road? Something ethereal… We plan to have fun with it and hope you will enjoy seeing the work we feature and our statements on the subject.
The January Resolve, Evolve group show was a huge hit and we want to thank everyone for coming out to the reception! This month, our focus on resolutions and forward movement in our careers continues with a Resolve, Evolve Panel Discussion to be moderated by Pyragraph Magazine’s Peri Pakroo. Check it out on Old Town ARTful Saturday!
The call is still out for our first juried show of the year, our second annual “Women’s Work” exhibition. Local women have until February 9th to show us what they’ve got!
Finally, please don’t forget us this holiday if you’re looking for that perfect gift for your favorite someone. We’ve got some beautiful new offerings– Fine Art, Jewelry, and Gifts we know they will love. We’re also now offering eGift cards.

February First Friday ARTScrawl (February 2nd; 5-8pm)
Love is… puppy kisses… a warm cup of tea… the open road… a smile from a stranger…
This month, Ghostwolf artists explore the concept of love. From romance to random acts of kindness, they examine both traditional and unconventional expressions of humankind’s most enigmatic emotion. Our artists will pepper their walls with things they love– things that make them think about love– or how they understand it. Each has also prepared a small statement on the topic. Romantics, philosophers, and skeptics alike are welcome. Light refreshments.
Several artists have prepared new work for the show. Check out this video by Roe LiBretto for a sneak peak at one of her new pieces and a look at her process!

February 17 (1-4pm)RESOLVE, EVOLVE (PT II) A panel discussion on career goals and artistic directions
In January, our artists brought you a group show addressing the concepts of renewal, forward movement, personal evolution, and transcendence in our work. Our perspectives are greatly influenced by our stage in our careers and our individual personalities. We saw both highly directed statements and resolutions not to have resolutions…
In February, we are excited to bring you an event moderated by Author, Editor, & CoachPeri Pakroo.Peri is the founder ofPyragraph, an online creative career magazine featuring posts by and about artists working worldwide. She is the author of several top-selling Nolo titles on small business and nonprofit start-ups including “The Small Business Start-up Kit”, “The Women’s Small Business Start-up Kit”, and “Starting & Building a Nonprofit”.
Peri will moderate a panel of Ghostwolf Artists as we discuss goals and directions in a more formal setting. Join us to meet the artists and find out what makes them tick. There will be plenty of time for questions, and as always, we’ll have snacks on-hand.
